The Kalamazoo Downtown Winter Restaurant Week, January 27 through February 2 is a little bit later this year offering the opportunity to take advantage of Kalamazoo Beer Week (January 11-18) and Chili Cook-off (January 25). Without a doubt, January will be a great month to explore all the brews and tastes of Kalamazoo.
The Downtown Kalamazoo Retail and Restaurant Association (DKRRA) is the host of Kalamazoo Restaurant Week and will offer a new twist with a series of special events that pairs our restaurants and retailers. Events galore and a chance to explore the power of local. The events will be creative, hands on, and we promise that you will learn something fun – even foodies might be surprised. And, with new restaurants participating, this event now more than ever offers a “hop” of an event exploring the great food scene, while you shop.
The other new twist to the event is the “dual” menu price fix. The week will include either a $10 or a $25 price fix meal. This allows for more innovative parings, affordable food options, and the chance to “hop” from place to place with the $10 price fix. Menus will be available after December 10, so come back and check out the week where your kitchen can close and you can treat yourself to a week of “food heaven.”
